Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

National Motors LLC (“National Motors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through nationalmotorsva.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, the choices you have, and how we protect it. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: when you contact us or submit a form, we collect what you give us — contact and lead details (name, email, phone, address, and the vehicle or service you’re interested in, via our contact, pre-qualification, trade-in/sell, and “what’s your car worth” forms); credit application information (if you apply for financing, the information needed to process a credit application, which may include your Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license number and details, housing and employment history, and income and other financial information, plus co-applicant information if you provide it); and communications (records of your messages, requests, our correspondence, and your SMS/text preferences). Information collected automatically: when you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect device and usage information — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar analytics data — through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use it to: respond to your inquiries and provide the vehicles, financing, and services you request; process and submit credit applications to financial institutions and lenders on your behalf, and facilitate the purchase, financing, trade-in, or delivery of a vehicle; verify your identity and the accuracy of information you provide; operate, maintain, and improve the Site; send you updates, specials, or other communications where you’ve asked for them or as permitted by law; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you or as required by law, including with: financial institutions and lenders (to obtain financing, pre-qualification, or credit decisions you’ve requested); service providers that operate our business on our behalf — for example, our dealer management and credit-application platform (DealerCenter), email and hosting providers, and analytics providers — who may use the information only to provide services to us; legal and safety recipients (authorities, regulators, or others when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others); and a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Credit Applications and Consumer Reports

If you submit a credit application or financing request, you authorize us and the financial institutions to whom we submit your application to obtain consumer credit reports and related information about you, and to verify your employment and the information you provide, to evaluate your creditworthiness, consistent with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). As a provider of vehicle financing, we handle nonpublic personal financial information in accordance with the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable law, and limit its use and disclosure accordingly.

5. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, you consent to receive marketing and/or non-marketing (transactional) texts from National Motors LLC at the number you provide. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Opting out of marketing texts will not stop transactional messages related to a transaction you’ve begun. We do not share your mobile opt-in or phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may at any time, by contacting us (Section 13): see what personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct or update it; ask us to delete it (subject to records we’re required to keep by law); opt out of future marketing contact; and raise any concern about how we use your data.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and improve your experience. Some cookies may be set by our service providers (for example, analytics or advertising partners); we don’t control those third-party cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, though some Site features may not work properly without them.

8. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Information you submit through the Site is transmitted over encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections, sensitive application data is encrypted when stored, and access to personal information is limited to personnel who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Virginia and Other State Privacy Rights

If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) gives you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access it; to correct inaccuracies; to request deletion; to obtain a portable copy; and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us (Section 13); we will verify your request and respond within the time the law allows. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact the Virginia Attorney General if you have concerns. Residents of other states with similar laws may have comparable rights and can contact us the same way.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, including to complete a transaction you requested, and to comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Credit-application records are retained whether or not the application is approved, as required by law. It is your responsibility to notify us of any change to your name, address, or employment relevant to a pending application.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
